U.S. Bitcoin and Ether ETFs have recorded $1.65 billion in combined net outflows during Nov. 2–6, with BlackRock’s IBIT losing money in every session despite a positive week for Fidelity’s competing Bitcoin fund.
Summary- Bitcoin ETFs lost $1.28 billion over five sessions, while Ether funds recorded $365.2 million in withdrawals.
- BlackRock’s IBIT shed $1.21 billion during the week, including $403 million in Friday’s session.
- Fidelity’s FBTC finished with $93.1 million in weekly inflows despite Thursday’s $199.9 million withdrawal.
- Combined Bitcoin and Ether ETF outflows reached $504.2 million on Friday after Wednesday’s brief recovery.
According to Farside Investors’ Bitcoin data, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $411.9 million in net withdrawals on Nov. 6. Ether funds lost another $93.3 million, leaving both categories negative for a second consecutive session.
Across Thursday and Friday alone, investors withdrew a combined $1.04 billion from the two groups. Their only positive session during the week came on Wednesday, when Bitcoin funds attracted $74.6 million and Ether products received $53 million.
Bitcoin ETF withdrawals concentrate in BlackRock’s IBIT
BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for $403 million of Friday’s Bitcoin withdrawals. Bitwise’s BITB lost $20.5 million, ARK 21Shares’ ARKB shed $20.1 million, and Grayscale’s GBTC recorded $11.1 million in redemptions.
Fidelity’s FBTC moved in the opposite direction, taking in $42.8 million and partially offsetting withdrawals elsewhere. The remaining Bitcoin products in Farside’s table reported zero net flows.
Over the full week, IBIT lost $1.21 billion. Its largest daily withdrawal came on Monday at $405.3 million, followed closely by Friday’s figure. Wednesday’s $201.2 million exit occurred even as the overall Bitcoin ETF category returned to positive flows.

Its $236.7 million intake on Wednesday outweighed Thursday’s $199.9 million withdrawal, while smaller inflows on Monday, Tuesday and Friday kept its weekly balance positive.
Across the other products, Bitwise attracted $16.6 million during the week, while ARKB lost $19.1 million. Grayscale’s GBTC recorded $61 million in withdrawals, and its Bitcoin Mini Trust lost $52.6 million.
Ether ETFs lose $365.2 million despite Wednesday’s buying
Farside’s Ethereum figures show that BlackRock’s ETHA led Friday’s withdrawals with $90.8 million. Fidelity’s FETH lost $1.7 million, while Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust shed $1.9 million.
BlackRock’s separate ETHB product attracted $1.1 million. None of the other tracked Ether funds recorded a positive flow that day.
ETHA finished Nov. 2–6 with $345.9 million in net withdrawals, while ETHB lost $47.9 million. Fidelity’s FETH attracted $15.3 million over the same period, helped by Wednesday’s $19.2 million subscription.
The category opened November with withdrawals of $139.7 million on Monday and $85.3 million on Tuesday. Wednesday’s $53 million inflow was followed by $99.9 million leaving on Thursday and $93.3 million on Friday.
Ether funds had already lost $431.4 million during Oct. 26–30. As crypto.news previously reported, their October withdrawals reached $1.61 billion, with $155.7 million leaving during the month’s final trading session.
Wednesday’s ETF recovery fails to carry through
Bitcoin’s weekly withdrawals were more than six times the $202.4 million recorded during Oct. 26–30. Combined Bitcoin and Ether outflows rose from $633.8 million in that earlier week to approximately $1.65 billion.
The latest five-session totals leave Bitcoin funds with four negative days and one positive day. Ether products followed the same daily pattern, although their weekly withdrawals were smaller than in the preceding period.
During the brief return to inflows, Global Settlement Network co-founder and CEO Ryan Kirkley cautioned against treating one positive session as evidence that selling had ended. He described the split between Fidelity and BlackRock as investors adjusting their exposure unevenly.
Kirkley said institutional allocation decisions continued to depend on liquidity, monetary policy and portfolio choices, while unresolved U.S. rules around custody, payments and settlement remained relevant to financial institutions.
AMINA trader points to Ether flows as a demand signal
In comments published Nov. 6, AMINA Bank’s head of derivatives trading, Andreja Cobeljic, identified renewed Ether ETF buying as a signal he would watch when assessing whether institutional demand could support gains into 2027.
“Simply put, ETH flows,” he said.
Cobeljic distinguished ETF subscriptions and corporate Bitcoin purchases from futures positioning, which can involve arbitrage without an outright bet on rising prices. He said subdued futures premiums during recent rallies suggested such trades remained prominent.
Farside’s cumulative totals stood at approximately $55.77 billion in net inflows for Bitcoin ETFs and $11.95 billion for Ether funds through Nov. 6.
